I know for sure that there'll be quite a handful of forumites here who aren't really into CNY celebrations so it'll be fine but for you, I'm not so sure since you've got a pretty close-knit family, it seems. Anyways, I've booked for first quarter of next year. But see how... once I get my PR approved, I'll have to leave Australia because they won't give me the PR until I 'fly into' Australia! Weird system!
